Position Overview

The CDC Foundation is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support the Overdose Data to Action (OD2A) Capacity Building Initiative. This role involves strategic planning, managing a team of direct reports, and overseeing the implementation of staffing initiatives for jurisdictions.

Position Details
  • Location: Hybrid to Atlanta
  • Position End Date: 9/29/2026
  • Salary: $108,000 plus benefits
Required Qualifications
  • Education: Master's degree, preferably in Public Health, or a related field (health policy, health promotion, global health, or health administration).
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of five years of demonstrated leadership in public health, non-profit, or related program work.
  • Supervisory Leadership: At least four years of experience supervising others and leading multi-level teams; demonstrated ability to work independently and manage a team; experience cultivating a team atmosphere in remote environments.
  • Program Management: Demonstrated management of federal and non-federal budgets; cross-functional collaboration experience (HR, Finance, Accounting, Compliance, Payroll); experience managing multiple programs, deliverables, and deadlines; program evaluation experience, including report writing and editing.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Experience working with diverse stakeholders and engaging in strategic external partnerships; excellent customer service and servant leadership skills.
  • Skills and Qualities: Strong analytical, judgment, and decision-making skills; proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; working knowledge of Smartsheet and Salesforce; ability to work weekends, after hours, and travel domestically as required.
