Job summary

Anova Technical Services, a division of Shiel Sexton, seeks a Senior Project Manager in the United States to serve as the Owner’s representative for complex capital projects from preconstruction through commissioning. You’ll drive strategy, align objectives, and ensure safe, compliant, and operationally ready facilities.

Lead design, procurement, and construction oversight, manage risk, and communicate with owners and stakeholders to deliver on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in project management.
• Proven history of successfully managing large-scale commercial construction projects in highly regulated industries.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
• Strong organizational, decision-making, and time-management abilities.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Position Overview

The Senior Project Manager serves as the Owner’s representative, accountable for delivering complex, mission-critical capital projects from preconstruction through commissioning and closeout. This role drives overall project strategy and execution, ensuring alignment with Owner objectives across scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety.

The Senior PM provides proactive oversight across design, procurement, and construction, managing risk, enforcing accountability, and driving coordination among all stakeholders. As the primary interface for the Owner, this role ensures clear communication, informed decision-making, and delivery of a fully compliant, operationally ready facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Own delivery of project outcomes on behalf of the Owner, ensuring alignment to scope, budget, schedule, and quality expectations.
• Establish and drive the overall execution strategy, integrating design, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
• Provide proactive oversight of project performance; identify risks early and lead resolution to protect cost, schedule, and quality.
• Lead coordination across design teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and accountability.
• Act as the Owner’s primary point of contact, driving decisions, managing expectations, and maintaining strong relationships.
