Job summary

Clayco is seeking a Senior Project Manager to be based on the construction site. You will take projects from conceptual stages through closeout, providing leadership and technical direction to deliver design-build solutions for complex builds.

Lead client and subcontractor relationships, manage budgets and schedules, and mentor project teams. Travel will be required as clients and projects span nationwide, including the Phoenix region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• 10–15 years of experience managing construction projects ($50M+) ideally design-build.
• Strong safety record and commitment to safety and quality.
• Experience with set-up, budget planning, buyout, and cost reporting.
• Knowledge of construction principles, practices, and technology.
• Proven leadership of a project management team.
• Creative, results-oriented with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to walk the job site, climb ladders and multi-floor scaffolding.
• Ability to lift objects at least 50 lbs.

The Role We Want You For

The Senior Project Manager will be based on the construction project site and will be responsible for taking projects from conceptual stages through closeout. Provide leadership, technical direction, and deliver the best solutions on design-build projects valued anywhere from a $60 million to over $250 million. At Clayco, a Senior Project Manager is responsible for assisting with preconstruction, buying out contracts, and managing the project from start to finish.
