Job summary

MITRE is seeking a Project Coordinator to support Enterprise Program & Risk Management. You will manage schedules, risks, and communications for MITRE projects on-site in Massachusetts, applying AI approaches to enhance program effectiveness.

Role requires a PMP-like background, 5 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree (or 3 years with a master’s or PhD), US citizenship for a Secret clearance, and willingness to work on-site at least three days per week.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with relevant experience who can contribute at this job step.
• US citizenship required to obtain a Secret clearance in the future
• Basic knowledge of project, program and risk management as would be evident by a Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification.
• Experience in the application of AI tools
• Specific experience in one or more project management domain (e.g., risk management, change control, schedule management, project reporting, quality management)
• This position requires a minimum of 3 days a week on-site.

Department Summary

L212 contains MITRE Enterprise Program and Risk Management thought leaders. The department is composed of recognized subject matter experts, who are proficient in a suite of program and risk management skills including: leading people, project communications, scope management employing Agile, establishing program metrics, developing schedules, and more. The Enterprise Program & Risk Management department provides support across a wide range of MITRE portfolios, employing ~ 50 highly qualified and experienced staff.

Basic Qualifications

• US citizenship required to obtain a Secret clearance in the future
• Basic knowledge of project, program and risk management as would be evident by a Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification.
• Experience in the application of AI tools
• Specific experience in one or more project management domain (e.g., risk management, change control, schedule management, project reporting, quality management)
• Per the U.S. Government’s eligibility requirements, you must be a U.S Citizen to be considered for a security clearance.
• This position requires a minimum of 3 days a week on-site.
