Job summary

EMC Insurance is seeking a Senior Project Management Specialist to lead projects across business, product, technology, delivery, and process teams. You will develop integrated project plans, manage scope, schedules, budgets, and risks, and align execution with business objectives while building stakeholder alignment and guiding governance practices.

This role requires strong communication, leadership, and change‑management skills, with executive-ready updates and mentoring to project teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
Five years of experience in project management or a related field.
Program or project management certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, or related credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

Leads projects to successful completion.
Leads projects with varying complexity, organizational impact, risk, and visibility.
Develops and manages comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, resource requirements, and implementation strategies.
Establishes integrated project plans that align scope, timelines, dependencies, delivery commitments, process impacts, and operational readiness.
Provides executive-ready updates on progress, risks, issues, trade-offs, and outcomes to sponsors and leadership.
