Job summary

System One in York, PA is seeking a Sr Project Manager for Engineering Capital Projects to oversee automation and engineering initiatives from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery on scope, budget, and quality.

You will define project parameters, manage schedules and budgets, coordinate vendors, and lead FAT activities while mentoring teammates and driving continuous process improvement. This onsite role requires travel and a PMP preference, with a strong leadership background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of industry-related project management experience.
• PMP certification preferred and knowledge of MS Office and Project.

Responsibilities

• Oversee automation or engineering projects from initiation to completion.
• Define parameters, review contracts, ensure adherence by teams and contractors.
• Create and manage detailed schedules and budgets; track progress.
• Identify RADIOS risks and mitigate to ensure project success.
• Coordinate vendor orders and procurement to meet scope and budget.
• Lead FAT activities; ensure safety, sanitary, and quality standards.
• Prepare project documentation for stakeholders.
• Organize customer meetings; liaison among all project parties.
• Manage installation and commissioning at client sites.
• Mentor new team members and other project managers.
• Continuously improve project processes.
