Qualifications

• BS or BA in Accounting, Finance or Business.
• CPA, CGA, CMA, FCCA license or equivalent desired.
• 12-15+ years of corporate accounting experience, specifically with project accounting.
• Management experience, supervising and coordination of responsibilities.
• Effective communicator with good presentation skills and leadership qualities.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel (Advanced Level)).
• Proficiency with business analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of a finance project or program using appropriate methodologies.
• Support project managers during project setup, budgets, funding, margin expectations, and resourcing within Connect Business.
• Assist in proposals to ensure ROI metrics are achieved.
• Risk contingency analysis and monitoring support.
• Contract review - financial section specific.
• Change order review, tracking and entry.
• Review subconsultants' financial data, invoices, and budget tracking.
• Billing coordination and improving DWCO through invoices and workflow.
• Analyze working capital to ensure WIP billed and debts collected.
• Coordinate with clients on financial compliance, invoice submission & timely payments.
• Track budget vs plan, analyze costs, and review credit memos.
• Revenue recognition evaluation, earned value trends, forecasting, and KPI reporting.
• Support monthly progress reviews from a financial perspective.
• Financial reporting on project revenue and working capital to Unit leadership.
• CRM data mining and maintenance support for Unit leadership.
• Project close out in Connect Business.
