Job summary

Leeward Renewable Energy is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst (P3) to support corporate financial planning, cash flow forecasting, investor reporting, and risk control. Based in Dallas, TX, you will work within a growing team, interact with all levels of the organization, and contribute to the company’s success in the renewable energy sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related academic field.
• Three to five years of extensive experience in financial valuation and modeling, preferably in renewable energy.
• Experience with corporate finance, budgeting, and reporting.
• Working knowledge of accounting.
• Familiarity with Finance and Accounting (Dynamics, Hyperion) and/or BI (Power BI, Tableau) is preferable.
• Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Builds, utilizes, and maintains financial models for wind, solar, and energy storage projects to evaluate asset performance.
• Analyzes project and company performance, explains variances to the budget, and provides reporting materials for management, investors, and Board.
• Coordinates input gathering and consolidates results for annual budgeting and reforecasts.
• Performs due diligence on modeling inputs and assumptions.
• Conducts market research to incorporate relevant information into the financial models.
• Performs ad hoc analysis and reporting as required.
