Job summary

J. Shaw Enterprises, a development and construction affiliate, seeks a Project Executive (PX) to lead ground-up multifamily development projects in NYC and NJ. You will report to the EVP of Development and Construction and drive project execution from start to finish.

The role requires 8–11 years in construction leadership, strong budgeting, and proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project. You will coordinate with design teams, contractors, and regulatory agencies to deliver on-time,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or related A/E/CM field.
• 8–11 years of experience in construction management, architecture, engineering, or ownership entities, including at least 3 years in a senior project manager or leadership role.
• Proficiency with budgeting, contracts, construction management software (e.g., Procore) and advanced Microsoft Excel and Bluebeam skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities with experience guiding multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support EVP of Development and Construction and oversee GC and design consultants on a ground-up multifamily project.
• Represent ownership during all project phases and ensure alignment among design teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Manage budgets, including hard/soft costs, contingencies, and cash flow forecasting.
• Prepare monthly status reports with budget, schedule, progress, risks, and mitigations.
• Review change orders, requisitions, invoices, and ensure cost control.
• Oversee procurement, permits, and closeout procedures in line with standards.
