Job summary

Consigli Construction seeks a Project Executive to provide overall direction and supervision of projects, including oversight of PMs, engineers, and administrators. You will establish operating priorities, maintain client relationships, and drive safety, quality, and profitability across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 15+ years of lead management experience for a construction CM at Risk firm.
• Experience leading multiple project teams on large scale projects.
• Proficient in Cost Reporting.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; basic scheduling software knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Generate leads and pursue business development opportunities.
• Lead the work acquisition process including development of profitability plans, coordination with inter-department staff, oversight of proposal development, and interview preparation.
• Identify and communicate RFP pursuit strategy to inform project approach, staffing, estimate, risks, schedule, and logistics development.
• Assign qualified staff to properly manage project scope and complexities.
• Manage the preconstruction phase with preconstruction and estimating teams to develop budgets, schedules, logistics, risks, and constructability reviews.
• Provide oversight across all phases of the project from preconstruction to close-out, ensuring continuity from start to finish.
• Establish a customer satisfaction action plan and ensure proper execution.
• Identify project challenges and suggest solutions to achieve objectives and profitability.
• Negotiate owner contracts and oversee subcontract development.
• Provide high-level supervision across multiple projects and direct as needed.
• Oversee and attend weekly owner meetings and visit project sites to monitor performance, costs, schedule, quality, safety, and profitability.
• Maintain client contact throughout the project duration to encourage communication and gauge team performance.
• Build and maintain relationships with owners, OPMs, consultants, government authorities and subcontractors.
• Mentor, train, and coach staff to meet/exceed performance standards and attain growth; perform evaluations every 6 months.
• Ensure staff is trained and in compliance with SOPs.
• Assist in sourcing and interviewing potential new hire candidates.
