Wharton-Smith, Inc. seeks a Project Executive to oversee project management and ensure the financial success of projects across the Northwest Florida region. You will lead commercial construction teams, manage client relations, and guide pursuit strategies to grow the business.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, strategic planning, and effective collaboration with stakeholders to deliver safe, high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Formación

• Ten years of progressive experience in commercial construction.
• Experience with Design-Bid-Build, CMAR, and Design-Build delivery methods.
• Ability to interpret civil, mechanical, electrical, and structural drawings and specs.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain strong client relations with municipal, K-12, and public safety clients.
• Provide leadership and strategic direction to multiple project teams on commercial construction projects.
• Develop team members through training, mentoring, and coaching for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Business Development and Marketing to identify and secure new commercial opportunities.
• Participate in and advise senior leadership on pursuits, client development, and bid strategies.
• Review and negotiate contract documents to ensure understanding of scope, specs, regulatory requirements, and deliverables.
• Coordinate the interests of Wharton-Smith, the client, and third-party stakeholders to meet obligations and satisfaction.
• Promote collaboration and accountability across project teams.
• Supervise and review project personnel to ensure compliance, quality, and accuracy.
• Provide oversight of project financial performance, including cost tracking, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
• Champion safety practices across all projects by ensuring policies are implemented by PMs and Superintendents.
