Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of estimating, cost analysis, or related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and drawings.
• Knowledge of cost-estimating principles in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; estimating systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review specifications, drawings, and proposal requirements to determine scope and estimating needs.
• Develop cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted services.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Proposal Management, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Sales to validate assumptions.
• Prepare RFQs and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing.
• Analyze historical cost data to identify trends and risks.
• Maintain estimating documentation and data to support accuracy and consistency.
• Support proposal development by providing timely cost information and revisions.
