The role involves reviewing specifications, preparing labor/material/subcontract costs, and coordinating with Engineering, Proposal Management, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Sales to validate assumptions. The candidate will analyze historical cost data, prepare RFQs, and maintain estimating

Qualifications

• 5+ years of estimating, cost analysis, or related experience.
• Ability to read technical specifications, drawings, and BOMs.
• Proficiency with Excel and cost-management practices.
• Experience with heat exchangers or engineered equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review specs, drawings, and requirements to define scope and estimating needs.
• Develop cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted services.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Proposal Management, Procurement, and Manufacturing.
• Prepare RFQs and evaluate supplier/subcontractor pricing.
• Analyze historical cost data to identify trends, discrepancies, and risks.
• Maintain estimating docs and tools for accuracy and consistency.
• Support proposals with timely cost information and estimate revisions.
