Hydrasearch in Stevensville, MD is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our engineering team. You will serve as a key technical contributor, accelerating development initiatives for aerospace and defense programs, solving complex problems, and enabling new capabilities through rapid cycles.

This hands-on role focuses on design, prototyping, validation, and transition to production within a small, high-performance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 4–8 years of engineering experience.
• Experience working in manufacturing or product-based environments.
• Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals and understanding of the engineering development lifecycle.
• Demonstrated capability in structured problem‑solving and root cause analysis.
• Experience bringing technical projects from concept through implementation.
• Strong ownership mentality and personal accountability for results.
• Ability to move quickly without waiting for perfect information and comfort operating with limited struct

Responsibilities
