Qualifications

• Degree in chemical or mechanical engineering required.
• 5+ years of experience leading capital and debottlenecking projects in manufacturing or chemical plant environment.
• Experience developing project scope, cost estimates, budgets, and schedules from project definition through implementation and close-out.
• Strong vendor and contractor management experience, including bid evaluation, contract coordination, cost control, and invoice review.
• Experience coordinating turnarounds or major capital projects while supporting day-to-day contractor needs.
• Ability to align Process Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, vendors, and contractors across the full project lifecycle.
• PMP or similar project management certification preferred.
• A huge plus would be polymerization experience.
• Local Houston-area candidates preferred; travel is less than 10%.
