Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer to join our National Mission Critical team in Dallas.

The role serves as the critical link between on‑site construction and project management leadership, owning key administrative tasks with increasing autonomy. This is a path toward a Project Manager role on large‑scale, technically complex projects. You will support budgeting, bid prep, subcontracts, change orders, and scheduling while coordinating with subcontractors, architects, and

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience as a Project Engineer in commercial construction.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specs, and PM fundamentals.
  • Proficiency with Procore and Building Connected.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager in project administration from pre‑construction to closeout.
  • Lead in managing project documentation (RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes).
  • Help maintain project status reports for stakeholders.
  • Support budget tracking and subcontractor buyout activities.
  • Coordinate with subs, architects, and engineers on day‑to‑day issues.
  • Support schedule development and jobsite coordination meetings.
  • Assist in closeout with as‑built drawings and O&M manuals.
