Job summary

Ausenco is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for the Minerals and Metals Business line in the Tucson office. You will lead multi-disciplinary engineering efforts, develop contract packages, and coordinate interfaces across engineering, procurement, logistics and construction.

You will bring a 4-year engineering degree, 10+ years of mining/industrial project experience, and 3+ years of field construction management. Strong communication and travel willingness are essential.

Qualifications

• 4-year Engineering degree or related technical degree or diploma.
• 10+ years of experience in mining, mineral processing or major industrial capital projects.
• 3+ years field construction experience and management of contractors.
• Strong client, contractor and team collaboration.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Act as Senior Project Engineer for various assignments.
• Develop contract packages with engineering input and manage execution.
• Coordinate multi-discipline engineering efforts and interfaces.
• Monitor cost, progress and schedule; report and corrective actions.
• Maintain client relationships and liaise with sub-consultants and vendors.
• Support continuous improvement of design standards and PM processes.
