Job summary

The ideal candidate has an engineering degree with extensive manufacturing or DoD project experience, strong leadership, communications, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Engineering with 10 years of related experience.
• Or an Associate's degree with 20 years of related experience.
• Experience in manufacturing and machining with increasing responsibility in technical applications.
• Proven ability to lead projects and delegate tasks effectively.
• Experience with Department of Defense projects is preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.
• Good leadership and organizational abilities.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Identify business opportunities, develop relationships, and generate project plans.
• Develop and oversee projects (SOW, cost proposal, and schedule).
• Identify improvements to project management practices.
• Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate Alliance Partner involvement on projects.
• Provide monthly project reporting and updates.
• Serve as the primary customer interface for communications.
• Work with NCDMM personnel and contracting authorities for reporting and audits.
