Job summary

Fluence Energy, LLC is seeking aSenior Project Engineer to strengthen its Solution Engineering capabilities in the EMEA region. This full-time role reports to the Director of Solution Engineering EMEA and collaborates with project managers on multiple projects.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in power systems design for utilities, PV, and battery storage, with EPC experience for HV systems and knowledge of EMEA codes. English and German fluency is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering preferred; other fields considered.
• 8+ years of experience designing power systems for utilities, PV, storage in EMEA.
• EPC experience for HV systems; energy storage is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects on time and budget.
• Knowledge of codes/standards used in EMEA; strong client interaction skills.
• Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Manage external engineering firms, subcontractors, and internal disciplines to meet project deliverables.
• Ensure deliverables meet contractual requirements, are build-able, and consider country/regional design impacts.
• Lead design reviews and ensure ISO 9001 quality program compliance.
• Drive value engineering and innovative approaches for best-in-class system design.
• Support procurement with equipment specs and technical vendor reviews.
• Review designs for compliance with project requirements and obligations.
