A rapidly growing heavy civil construction company in San Diego is looking for a Senior Project Engineer to support project managers in planning and executing construction projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience, a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field, and a strong understanding of heavy civil construction, including earthwork and utilities. The role involves project planning, coordination, and communication with various stakeholders, making it essential for candidates to possess excellent organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction, preferably in public works.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings.
• Ability to work both in the office and in the field as required.

Responsabilités

• Assist with project planning, scheduling, and cost control.
• Review plans for constructability and compliance.
• Prepare and track RFIs and project documentation.
