Job summary

Stacy Witbeck is seeking a Project Engineer in the Los Angeles area to support our Operations department. This full-time position requires managing costs, subcontractors, RFIs, and schedule coordination, with an ownership mindset and a focus on safety and quality.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years of public works experience, a Civil/Mechanical/Construction Mgmt degree, and strong Excel skills. Relocation to the Southern California region is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management.
• 5-10 years’ experience on public works projects with field and office responsibilities.
• Excellent communication skills are required.
• Proficient in Excel and data tracking.

Responsibilities

• Manage project costs, quantities, and material costs.
• Coordinate subcontractors including scheduling, progress, and payments.
• Prepare and manage RFIs and submittals.
• Ensure compliance with contract documents and safety standards.
• Maintain project schedules and look-ahead planning.
