About the Company:

Industrial construction organization that specializes in the construction of forest, pulp, paper, power, and chemical manufacturing facilities. The industrial division provides self-perform services such as mechanical, piping, civil, steel, and concrete.

About the Position:

This position will be responsible for the supervision and training of field engineers and possibly lower-level project engineers. This is a traveling position that will provide weekly per diem and trips home. The candidate will demonstrate an understanding of the components of the project management plan (PMP), including the project scope management plan, procurement plan, environmental plan, time management plan, financial plan, quality management plan, and safety plans as well as the risk management plan to ensure successful project execution. The candidate will also demonstrate a thorough understanding of the change management process.

Requirements:

  • BS in construction management or similar, with a strong background in industrial construction concepts.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, standards, etc.
  • In-depth understanding of the interdependence and relationship between multiple functional units.
