Job summary

Gafcon PM-CM LLC in California seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead field and project engineering, quality control, and contract administration for tenant improvement projects. You will review drawings, coordinate stakeholders, and manage schedules and budgets to ensure on-time, within-budget project success.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of experience in tenant improvements or commercial construction, with strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency in Bluebeam, BIM/CADD,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5–8 years of tenant improvement or commercial construction experience.
• Experience with coordinating multiple stakeholders and documentation review.
• Strong understanding of design review processes and construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, design, construction, and closeout of tenant improvement projects.
• Coordinate design reviews, comment tracking, and items resolution.
• Schedule and lead design review and coordination meetings with stakeholders.
• Review documents for compliance with project requirements and standards.
• Track budgets, costs, schedules, and progress with project managers.
• Maintain organized project records and reporting for management.
