Job summary
Top Echelon Software, LLC in Lakeland, FL is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for heavy-civil/FDOT highway projects. You will lead RFI/submittal processes, maintain CPM schedules, coordinate with the field team, and manage cost tracking and pay applications while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of project engineering on heavy-civil / heavy-highway projects.
- Hands-on FDOT roadway project experience.
- A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Comfort with scheduling and PM software (Primavera P6, Bluebeam, MS Project).
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end RFI and submittal processes to keep the project on schedule.
- Develop and maintain CPM schedules; identify critical paths and risks.
- Coordinate with Superintendent and crews on sequencing, deliveries, and subcontractors.
- Own quantity tracking, pay estimates, and monthly owner pay apps.
- Review plans for constructability and FDOT compliance; manage changes.
- Maintain documentation and mentor junior engineers.
