The role acts as the go-to person, potentially supervising support functions such as Document Control, QA/QC, Scheduler, Cost Controller, and more, with travel up to 25% to meet project needs. Strong collaboration and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4 years’ experience or 8 years construction related experience.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Basic understanding of Primavera and Timberline.
• Ability to customize and modify spreadsheets.
• Willingness to maneuver on job sites and operate in varied terrains.

Responsibilities

• Supports Project Manager on the management of cost and schedule.
• Submits and/or approves monthly billings and earned value reports.
• Manages critical path project schedules for one medium/large project or multiple small projects.
• Analyzes targets, job cost summaries and other reports.
• Works with Superintendent and PM to optimize resources.
• Reviews and negotiates change orders and tracks status.
• Manages procurement and recommends actions.
• Approves field purchase orders for standard packages.
• Analyzes project financial performance and participates in reviews.
• Supports Project Engineering, Quality, Safety and Risk Management.
• Oversees the work of direct reports.
• Ensures a safe work environment.
• Participates in training and certifications.
