ProCaps Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to lead cross-functional initiatives across Production, Quality, Maintenance, Procurement, and other departments in a food and nutraceutical manufacturing facility.

You will ensure projects meet deadlines, scope, and budget while coordinating with suppliers and contractors. The role requires 5+ years in engineering within a regulated environment, strong writing and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office, AutoCAD, and

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a project engineer or technical project manager.
• Minimum of 5+ years of engineering experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read building mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, equipment layouts, packaging drawings, and technical documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.

Responsabilités

• Works with internal departments to understand needs and incorporate requirements into the projects.
• Provides standard project status updates including, but not limited to, Project Gantt Charts.
• Liaison between ProCaps and General Contractors as well as equipment suppliers.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects.
• Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders and third parties/vendors.
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
• Monitor resource availability and allocation, making recommendations as needed.
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress (Gantt Chart/Cad Drawings/Cost).
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation (Project Folders as Defined).
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques (Spending/Timeliness).
• Report project status and elevate issues to management, as needed.
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
• Meet with stakeholders/clients to clarify specific requirements of each project.
• Perform other related duties, as assigned.
