Job summary

MCN Build, a leading DC-based commercial construction management firm, seeks a Senior Project Engineer to oversee RFIs, submittals, and document control, coordinating with subcontractors and field teams to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• 2–4 years of construction experience.
• Strong understanding of construction documents and processes.
• Proficiency with Procore, PlanGrid, or Sage 300.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage core project functions such as RFIs, submittals, and document control.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and field teams to keep projects on track.
• Support cost tracking and change order documentation.
• Assist in resolving project issues and contribute to process improvements.
