Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company in Columbia, SC is seeking a Senior Project Engineer in Facility Engineering. You will resolve technical issues for the Columbia Fuel Fabrication Facility (CFFF) and drive capital and expense projects within the EFIN group.

This on-site role requires attendance five days a week, with a possible 9/80 schedule. The base salary range is $85,200 to $106,500 per year, dependent on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in an engineering design role.
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Familiarity with ASME Section VIII and ASME B31.3 criteria.
Understanding NRC and OSHA standards and regulations.
Technical leadership responsibilities.
Ability to interpret NRC/OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

Resolve technical issues for Columbia Fuel Fabrication Facility and support capital/expense projects.
Work with multi-discipline engineering teams on design, analysis and evaluation.
Apply engineering codes and standards to design and evaluation of systems.
Develop calculations and reports per ASME codes and facility standards.
Conduct field walkdowns and oversight of construction activities.
Support factory/site acceptance testing and commissioning services.
