Job summary

CGRS Inc. in Colorado is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support environmental, water, and fuels teams and external clients with analysis, design, and reporting from concept through completion.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s in civil/mechanical/environmental engineering, a PE license, 10+ years of experience, and the ability to obtain PE in western states. Proficiency in AutoCAD and strong project management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, or environmental engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 10+ years of progressive design, technical review, and project management experience.
• Experience in mechanical integrity evaluations, hydrology, hydraulics, water, wastewater, site grading, and/or storm water.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering drawings in AutoCAD and stamp drawings.
• Design small to medium projects: pipe flow, storage/delivery systems, foundation design.
• Coordinate with clients, staff, and regulatory agencies for project execution.
• Develop concepts and prepare site-specific proposals and presentations.
• Manage project budgets, invoicing, and deliverables for quality control.
