Job summary

SOLV Energy in Nevada is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead field-oriented project engineering and administrative deliverables to meet contract, profit, and schedule goals. The role is based full-time on a jobsite in Yerington, NV with travel required.

You will perform all essential project engineer responsibilities, document meetings, maintain docs and logs, run QA/QC, manage RFIs and submittals, mentor junior engineers, and support the project team in quality initiatives and process

Qualifications

• Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture degree, or CM certificate
• Minimum 2 years as Project Engineer
• Field experience required
• Able to read plans and specs; strong English communication

Responsibilities

• Perform all essential Project Engineer responsibilities
• Attend and document project meetings; record minutes
• Prepare QA/QC checklist for field inspections
• Manage RFI logs and submittal logs
• Mentor new Project Engineers
• Support QA/QC and department-wide quality initiatives
