Accounting Search is seeking a Senior Project Engineer in Starkville, MS, to oversee an individual portfolio of capital projects from concept to start-up. You will coordinate across Operations, Environmental, Transportation, Safety, contractors, and vendors while managing scope, schedule, and budget.

The role demands a bachelor's in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years of engineering and project management experience, including cradle-to-grave oversight and strong communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 8+ years of engineering experience with project management focus.
• Experience managing capital projects from cradle to grave.
• Knowledge of mass and energy balances, hydraulics, and heat transfer.
• Willingness to travel to job sites and work in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage an individual portfolio of projects from concept through commissioning and start-up.
• Coordinate stakeholders including Operations, Environmental, Transportation, Safety, contractors and vendors.
• Provide regular project updates, schedules, and cost reports.
