Job summary

Qualifications

• Engineering degree preferred with 5 years minimum experience.
• Strong CAD and FEA proficiency required.
• Experience designing for manufacturability and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage coordination and integration of technical activities for projects.
• Direct, review or approve product design changes.
• Discuss product specs with management, production, sales, service and marketing.
• Design/detail purchased items, machining, weld and assembly prints.
• Plan or direct testing, operation, maintenance or repair of equipment.
• Support and mentor assembly technicians and junior engineers.
• Analyze production issues and develop solutions.
• Develop bills of materials and review suppliers and costs.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for engineering work.
• Travel up to 25% and communicate with suppliers.
