Job summary

Intertek, Elmendorf, TX, is seeking a Mid-Level or Senior-Level Project Engineer to manage code compliance evaluations and support clients through product development, testing, and certification.

You will lead projects from sampling to final certification documentation, travel at least 25% of the time, and collaborate with sales, laboratories, and clients to meet milestones and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or closely related field.
• Ability to clearly communicate test procedures and results with customers.
• Capability to work both independently and in a team.
• Strong research, documentation, and technical writing skills.
• Travel is required (domestic and international).

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of building codes and product standards through testing and documentation.
• Lead project kick-off meetings with clients and establish milestones and commitments.
• Assist Sales Team with determining scope for quotes.
• Review contract requirements and document deviations.
• Coordinate with testing laboratories to ensure smooth client transitions.
• Conduct audits at manufacturing facilities and document all phases of production and quality control.
