Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 8+ years of related construction experience.
• Experience in advanced tech, semiconductor, or micro-chip manufacturing construction is preferred.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and cost control procedures.
• Knowledge of estimating, scheduling, purchasing and engineering principles and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce contract document understanding and project policies.
• Lead and develop Turner engineering staff and perform performance reviews.
• Ensure safety, ethics, and compliance at all times.
• Communicate information across the project team and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with design professionals, consultants, owners, and subcontractors for information flow and approvals.
• Lead GMP/preconstruction efforts related to project engineering and budgets.
• Review construction documents for constructability and QA/QC and address issues with design professionals.
• Assist in studying and cost estimation for materials and methods.
• Prepare detailed contract items list and procurement schedules for major purchases.
• Manage project financials and status reporting; track variances and forecasts.
• Schedule and document owner-architect meetings and coordination meetings.
• Oversee subcontract change orders and final closeout and records retention.
