Job summary

AQUALIS is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our team in Milwaukee. You will collaborate with a skilled engineering group on sustainable water design, including stormwater management and hydraulic analysis, driving projects from concept through construction.

The role requires a PE license, 5+ years in project management and design, and strong communication and organizational skills to manage budgets and schedules across multiple projects.

Qualifications

  • Current and active Professional Engineering license; must be in good standing.
  • 5+ years of Project management and design experience required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organizational skills are imperative to ensure schedule and budget adherence across projects.
  • 5+ relevant working experience and knowledge of drainage systems, water quality and stormwater control devices, hydraulic analysis, FDM design standards, DOT PS&E (Plan, Specifications & Estimates), site and roadway design, and project quality processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of projects from concept design to construction administration
  • Develop and manage budgets for projects, including change orders
  • Provide technical support to junior engineers throughout projects
  • Assist in proposal development with scope and fee preparation
  • Provide excellent customer service with frequent communications and updates
  • Participate in team activities including cross-training, staff meetings and mentoring

  • Assist in proposal development with scope and fee preparation
  • Provide excellent customer service with frequent communications and project updates
  • Participate in team activities including cross-training, staff meetings, brainstorming roundtables and mentoring

Requirements:
