Mars in Gainesville, GA or Yorkville, IL is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to design and install projects, and to be a senior member of the engineering community, site technical teams and project teams. The role focuses on delivering projects with safety and efficiency, while integrating with the broader engineering organization.

Formación

• Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a comparable technical position - food, beverage, pharmaceutical or related industry preferable.
• Understanding of engineering principals across Process, Packaging, Electrical, Construction or Construction Management.

Senior Project Engineer

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and installation of projects. Your role will be a senior active member of the Engineering community, site technical team, the local engineering team, and assigned project team(s). Provide a competitive advantage to the business, deploying your engineering know-how to successfully execute and deliver projects. These roles will either be based out of Gainesville, GA or Yorkville, IL.

What are we looking for?

• Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering).


• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a comparable technical position - food, beverage, pharmaceutical or related industry preferable.


• Proficiency in understanding of engineering principals - knowledge of engineering disciplines: Process, Packaging, Electrical, Construction or Construction Management.


• In-depth understanding of designated functional engineering area of expertise - Process or Packaging.


• Ability to travel approximately 50% or more requirement depending on project demands.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.
