The Opportunity

RS&H is seeking a Senior Project Director to join our Innovative Program Advisory Service Group!

Job Summary: This position will support the Innovative Program Advisory team on various alternative delivery programs and projects across the country, utilizing progressive delivery methods such as design-build, progressive design-build, CMGC/CMAR, and P3 (DBF/DBFOM). The role involves program management tasks like developing implementation manuals, guidelines, templates, and stakeholder education, as well as project management tasks including drafting RFI, RFQ, RFP documents, evaluation manuals, and project management plans to meet FHWA major project requirements.

The successful candidate will have experience with complex infrastructure projects procured through various alternative delivery methods, proficiency in drafting technical requirements, ITPs, and responses to RFIs. As a project manager, they should have experience working within timelines and budgets, managing a team of technical experts to develop project and program documents.

Essential Functions

• Support experienced experts in alternative delivery
• Serve in a technical role on current engagements with various state DOTs
• Contribute to growing a high-performing Innovative Program Advisory group based on accountability, communication, ethics, teamwork, and performance rewards
• Serve as a Project Manager for project pursuits aligned with client opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 20 years of experience with alternative delivery methods such as Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build, CM/GC, P3 (DBF, DBFO/M)
• Minimum 10 years of project management experience
• Experience managing complex transportation projects
• Experience working with state departments of transportation on alternative delivery projects
• Ability to maintain positive client and partner relationships
• Excellent organizational and quality control skills
• Ability to track project tasks and financials

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Professional Engineering license, AICP, DBIA certification, or PMP
