Job summary

Ware Malcomb in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Senior Project Designer to craft innovative conceptual designs for architectural projects and present options to clients. You will shape client goals, build strong relationships, and mentor junior staff while ensuring design intent and quality through all phases.

You will lead coordination with Project Managers and interdisciplinary teams, ensuring cohesive documentation and design excellence from concept to construction, including interior design coordination

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in Commercial Architecture Design.
• Licensed Architect is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency with Adobe Suite, SketchUp, Revit, and AutoCAD is required.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to develop ongoing relationships and determine clients’ project goals.
• Responsible for developing design options for both site and buildings.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and direct junior team members in correctly documenting design.
• Follow projects from inception through construction in order to maintain design quality and intent.
• Coordinate Interior Design team for spec buildings in order to provide cohesive design.
• Understand Work plan/budget for projects and be able to meet the expectations for hours and deliverable.

As a Senior Project Designer at Ware Malcomb, you will create innovative conceptual and schematic designs for architectural projects. You will present design options, shape client goals, and build strong client relationships while driving design excellence. You will guide and mentor team members and collaborate with project teams, maintaining design intent and quality at every stage.

Your Role
