Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 4+ years of project/cost accounting in construction/manufacturing/engineer settings.
• Proven experience with Percentage-of-Completion revenue frameworks.
• GAAP knowledge and WIP reporting expertise.
• Experience with internal and external audits and controls.

Responsibilities

• Manage GAAP-compliant revenue recognition using POC methods.
• Maintain and audit WIP schedules and track costs, revenue, and TCI.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to validate monthly forecasts and cost-to-complete metrics.
• Identify overruns and revenue risks; communicate findings to executives.
• Support audits and provide documentation for project accounting operations.
• Deliver accurate project cost metrics, inventory values, and reporting to managers.
• Maintain internal controls and identify operational anomalies.
• Train staff on project cost accounting workflows and inventory processes.
• Align finance, operations, and leadership on project milestones.
