Reporting to the Director of Project Excellence, you will mentor team members, interpret budgeting data, and ensure compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance, accounting, business, economics or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant cost analysis, finance, accounting, or project controls experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced cost management, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for complex programs.
• Analyze monthly budgeting and accounting reports to maintain expenditure controls and financial discipline.
• Compile and interpret detailed accounting records and financial data to determine funding and resource requirements.
• Direct the preparation and review of cost and budget reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Consult with managers and project teams to ensure budget adjustments align with approved program changes.
• Examine budget estimates for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to procedures; recommend corrective actions.
• Interpret budget directives and implement policies and best practices.
• Alignappropriations for programs with broader funding allocations, including contingencies.
• Perform advanced cost-benefit and financial analyses to compare operating scenarios.
