About DataMap

DataMap.ai is an AI-first technology consulting and solutions company focused on enterprise systems and automation. We build applications, implement ERP platforms, and provide managed services and production support at scale. Our clients include Fortune 500 enterprises and high-growth companies such as Google. They rely on us to modernize operations and automate workflows in ways that produce measurable business value.

DataMap is growing fast. We value innovation and collaboration, we work with urgency, and we reward speed, precision, and accountability. Teams here have the authority to solve complex enterprise problems and deliver results.

Why Join DataMap

At DataMap, projects run the way we expect every project to run in five years, with AI copilots drafting plans, surfacing risks, and writing first-draft status reports. At this level you help improve the coordination workflows the delivery team uses, and you review AI drafts before they go to the project managers you support.

You'll work across everything DataMap runs, including our most visible engagements, from customer, partner, and partnership-growth work to internal and operations projects. The next step up is Project Manager, where you manage that work.

Role Overview

As a Senior Project Coordinator, you'll coordinate multiple concurrent projects for DataMap's project managers, run the workstreams they delegate, keep PMO mechanics running, and mentor Project Coordinators. Project management at DataMap owns the management of all of our work, which covers everything: customer work, partner work, partnership growth, internal projects, and operations projects. The work ranges from implementations of partner platforms for enterprise clients and development of the products and customer portals we build and sell (Positron, RoboApprover, Itemova EDI SaaS) to the partnership-growth, internal, and operations projects that make DataMap run and grow.

You coordinate independently on assigned workstreams, keep schedules, risks, actions, and stakeholders straight across every project you support, and bring decisions and open issues to the project manager. This is a senior support role: project managers manage the client relationship and are accountable for business outcomes. Business development and commercial conversations stay with the project managers you support.

You will use AI tools every day and help improve the workflows built on them, including the meeting-capture flows, status cadences, and prompt libraries the delivery team uses.

Your Growth Path

Project management at DataMap has a defined five-level ladder that runs from delivery support to leading the practice: Project Coordinator, Senior Project Coordinator, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, and Director of Project Management. We post every level and promote from within, and moving up depends on performance and on the needs of the business. Beyond the Director level, the path continues into executive leadership, such as DataMap's Vice President, Operations & Delivery.

This is the senior support seat: you coordinate independently across multiple projects of every type, run the workstreams project managers delegate, and mentor Project Coordinators. Strong Senior Project Coordinators can grow into Project Manager, where the job moves from supporting the work to managing it, with accountability for the outcomes and client relationships that come with it. Project Managers go after business development on the projects they are on: they identify leads for new software and service sales, draft the orders, and get customer signatures. They lead their project teams: they proactively engage team members, ask what they're working on, suggest course corrections, and drive business outcomes. Along the way you work on Fortune 500 client engagements and see up close how the project managers you support grow their accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate schedules, dependencies, resources, vendors, and third-party contractors across multiple concurrent projects in customer, partner, partnership-growth, internal, and operations work.
  • Run the workstreams your project managers delegate end to end: plan them, track them, see them through to completion, and bring the project manager every decision that's theirs to make.
  • Keep RAID logs, integrated trackers, decision logs, and documentation current across the projects you support, so each project record stays the single source of truth.
  • Produce client-ready status reports, budget tracking, and dashboards, with AI writing the first draft and your review finishing it.
  • Run governance mechanics for the project managers you support (the status cadence, risk tracking, and decision workflows), and coordinate communication among project teams, functional consultants, and client and partner stakeholders.
  • Use AI-driven risk detection to spot schedule slips and dependency conflicts early, and elevate them to the project manager who owns the work.
  • Capture new requests that come up in client conversations in the project record, and route each one to the project manager with the context they need.
  • Support user acceptance testing, workshops, and cutover activities across the projects you support.
  • Improve the team's AI coordination workflows: meeting-capture flows, automated status cadences, prompt libraries, and workflow templates.
  • Mentor and guide Project Coordinators, and train them on DataMap's standard practices and tools.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in project coordination or IT project delivery.
  • Regular use of AI assistants (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) to track, report, and follow through on your work. Bring examples.
  • The ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team: you keep multiple projects straight, keep the project managers you support informed, and raise risks before they become surprises.
  • Strong command of schedules, dependencies, and multi-stakeholder communication.
  • Knowledge of business process analysis, user acceptance testing, and effective meeting management.
  • You're detail-oriented, adaptable, curious, and positive, and you do your best work in a fast-moving consulting environment.
Preferred Experience
  • CAPM or Google Project Management Professional Certificate (PMP a plus).
  • Demonstrated coordination experience on ERP or cloud software implementations (e.g., Coupa, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365).
  • Proficiency with Jira and Smartsheet, including their AI features; Lucidchart a plus.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery: sprints, backlogs, and releases.
  • Experience building prompt libraries or AI workflow templates for a team.
Benefits & Perks
  • Total compensation of base salary plus bonus.
  • Unlimited vacation and a flexible work environment.
  • Free catered lunch on Fridays at headquarters.
  • On-site gym at headquarters.
  • 401(k) with employer match.
  • Health insurance with generous employer contribution.
  • Dental, life, and disability insurance.
  • Hands-on mentorship and career development opportunities.
Why Apply?
  • Build your career in enterprise technology consulting.
  • Coordinate projects that run on AI copilots and major financial and supply chain systems, and help deliver AI programs for enterprise clients.
  • Work at a company that values innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.
