Job summary

Project Farma, a PerkinElmer company, is seeking an Engineer III/Lead Engineer - Project Controls to support biomanufacturing projects across the engineering lifecycle. You will develop schedules, monitor performance, and deliver high-quality controls outputs while collaborating with clients, vendors, and site personnel.

The role requires on-site work, domestic travel as needed, and a strong background in project controls, scheduling, and cost management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction Management or related discipline.
4-7+ years of equivalent work experience in Project Controls, cGMP facility start-up, project management and/or comparable military experience.
Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Project, Oracle Primavera P6, Smartsheet a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact and multitask with project team members, clients and vendors.

Responsibilities

Directly develop, maintain, and update project schedules, cost models, progress tracking tools, and performance reports.
Perform detailed schedule logic updates, progress status, forecasting, variance analysis, and recovery planning.
Independently prepare project controls reports, dashboards, and management summaries.
Utilize inputs from Project Coordinators, field teams, and other disciplines while retaining accountability for final project controls outputs.
