Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist in San Francisco. In this role, you will provide project controls expertise, enhance program delivery, and support staff management. Key responsibilities include project management forecasting, developing compliance standards, preparing financial reports, and coordinating with clients. Ideal candidates will have at least 15 years in financial analysis, a Bachelor’s in a relevant field, and proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office and CPM scheduling systems. Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in financial analysis, budget management, and/or project cost and schedule controls.
• Experience with cost management services including planning, earned value, forecasting, reporting, cash‑flow maintenance, and change management.
• Experience analyzing financial data, cost control, budgeting, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Leading internal project management and project forecasting.
• Developing and implementing project controls standards and procedures and monitoring compliance.
• Preparing reports outlining the program/project financial position.
• Providing QA/QC of monthly budget forecasts and preparing monthly ETC updates.
• Coordinating directly with clients to resolve invoicing or contracting issues.
