Jacobs is seeking a Senior Quantity and Progress Tracking Project Controls Professional for a site-based assignment with on-site duties in Spartanburg, SC or Baton Rouge, LA, and future on-site work across the U.S. The role focuses on accurate progress tracking, quantities installed reporting, and collaboration with construction teams and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive project controls experience, strong knowledge of earned value management,

Qualifications

• 10+ years in project controls or related field.
• Experience tracking installed quantities on large industrial projects.
• Knowledge of construction sequencing and field execution across multiple disciplines.
• Experience validating contractor progress and supporting progress payments.
• Understanding of earned value management (EVM) principles.
• Ability to analyze planned vs actual progress and identify variances.
• Experience supporting weekly and monthly project reporting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the project quantity database.
• Track quantity growth, scope changes, and quantity trends.
• Establish and maintain progress measurement procedures, rules, and weighting methodologies.
• Define measurable progress quantities and percent-complete criteria for Construction.
• Collect, validate, and track installed quantities to measure progress.
• Review contractor-reported progress against field conditions and measurable quantities.
• Calculate earned quantities, earned progress, and percent complete for reporting.
