Job summary

HDR, Inc. in Irvine, CA is seeking a Project Controls Manager to lead cost control, scheduling and variance analysis on major infrastructure projects. You will partner with designers, contractors and client teams to enforce project controls, develop KPIs, and drive timely decisions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering or related field.
7+ years of project controls experience on engineering/construction projects.
Ability to manage proposals, contracts and client relationships for large EPC projects.
Strong scheduling and cost control capabilities.

Responsibilities

Partner with designers, contractors, inspectors and third parties to identify and resolve scope and pricing variances.
Establish a procedural framework for reporting and reconciling variances.
Manage adherence to project controls practices, including change and records management.
Develop and monitor KPIs and report to project and program staff and client.
Set up coordination meetings and lead cross-functional collaboration.
Review change documentation for compliance with procedures and contracts.
