Job summary

PMA Consultants is seeking a senior Project Controls professional to join the PMT at Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD). You will lead cost management, scheduling, forecasting, and reporting across project delivery with a focus on stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement.

The role requires advanced project controls expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to independently manage complex projects while collaborating with project teams and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in project controls, cost engineering, or scheduling.
• Experience with Primavera P6 scheduling software.
• Proficiency with cost management software and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with earned value management (EVM), including CPI, SPI, EV, PV, and AC analysis.
• Experience with change management and evaluating cost/schedule impacts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project cost control processes, tools, and procedures; analyze variances and forecast impacts; provide recommendations to optimize budget performance.
• Develop, maintain, and analyze EPC project schedules using Primavera P6 with earned value, baseline management, forecasting, and corrective actions.
• Create and deliver clear, actionable cost and schedule reports for internal and external stakeholders, communicating status, trends, risks, and insights.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, clients, and stakeholders to align with budget and schedule objectives; support execution and client engagements across industries.
• Drive continuous improvement in project controls through process enhancements, advanced tooling, mentorship, business development support, and proactive problem solving.
