Job summary

Parsons is seeking a highly experienced Project Controls Manager to lead cost management, risk, scheduling, estimating, and reporting on a premier infrastructure program in the Newark, NJ area. You will oversee a team of Project Control Engineers and collaborate with clients across the Gateway Program’s multi-disciplinary efforts.

The role requires 15-20+ years of cost control experience, a relevant engineering degree, and strong proficiency with project controls software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 15-20+ years of related experience with supervisory/managerial roles.
• Strong cost management and reporting background; design project experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost management, risk, scheduling, estimating, and reporting on a large construction program.
• Provide guidance to resolve difficult project control problems.
• Interface with clients; attend meetings and provide reports.
• Manage a team of Project Control Engineers/Specialists; analyze costs vs schedule milestones.
• Assess impacts of design/construction changes and schedule slippages.
• Oversee development/maintenance of cost and schedule reporting systems.
