Job summary

KBR is seeking a Sr. Specialist in Project Controls in a hybrid role based in Huntsville, AL. The position requires leading budgeting, forecasting, and cost control for complex programs within CIP and Product Technology Solutions - Defense & Intel.

You will manage financials, schedules, and performance data across contract types, ensuring compliance with FAR/CAS and government standards. The role demands strong analytical abilities, communication skills, and the ability to mentor teams while

Qualifications

Four years of applicable experience.
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field.
Knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including advanced Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and control WBS and lead project set up activities.
In-depth knowledge of financial forecasting, budgeting, analysis, and reporting cycles.
Calculate, control, maintain baselines and budgets and monitor project funding, schedules and milestones.
Maximize project cashflow, review customer invoices and minimize unbilled balances.
Oversee subcontractor expenditures and analyze cost trends.
