CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to support services projects across the United States. You will develop schedule and cost baselines, analyze variances, and maintain risk reserves, communicating with project teams and stakeholders.

The role requires Earned Value Management expertise and hands-on use of Primavera P6 and EcoSys. Expect travel 20–40% and adherence to safety protocols and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate will demonstrate strong project management practices including budget development, scheduling, control and assurance.
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM), cost forecasting, and variance analysis is required.
• Ability to interpret project contracts, schedules, and technical drawings to drive baselines and forecasts.

Responsabilités

• Develop time-phased project cost and resource forecasts; validate costs and update as required.
• Monitor progress and variances; prepare performance reports for project portfolios using EVM.
• Provide guidance on financial controls, risk analysis, and forecasting techniques.
• Mentor junior staff and supervise engineers as needed.
• Ensure compliance with federal regulations and safety protocols.
