Job summary

Kaufman Lynn Construction is seeking a Senior Project Controls Engineer to lead scheduling and planning for large-scale projects across Southeast Florida, with approximately 75% remote flexibility and a presence at our Delray Beach office and active jobsites.

From multifamily and high-rise developments to government, education, healthcare, senior living, cultural, and commercial spaces, you’ll lead scheduling and planning efforts that keep projects on track and successful.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years in construction with at least 5 years scheduling for a commercial general contractor.
• Background in multifamily and high-rise construction.
• Expert proficiency in Primavera P6 and independent schedule development.
• Experience in preparing logistics plans and presenting to owners/architects.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and tracking systems.
• Lead pull planning sessions to optimize delivery.
• Perform delay analyses and Time Impact Analysis (TIA) reports.
• Collaborate on WBS/CBS with operations.
• Prepare GMP schedules and publish variance reports.
• Coordinate schedule updates with clients, subs, and teams.
• Integrate resource loading based on procurement plans.
• Lead biweekly schedule review meetings with operations.
• Track progress by % complete and costs.
• Visit sites to document actual progress and perform control duties.
